Lesson Plan: SCBA Air Management and Safety

In this lesson, students will learn about the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), that allows firefighters to perform their duties in toxic environments. Students will also learn limitations of the SCBA, conduct an SCBA inspection, and replace a SCBA cylinder.
