Practicum in Fashion Design
In addition to developing advanced technical knowledge and skills needed for success in the Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications Career Cluster®, students will be expected to develop an advanced technical understanding of the business aspects of fashion, with emphasis on promotion and retailing. Instruction may be delivered through lab-based classroom experiences or career preparation opportunities.
This binder does not contain all lesson plans for this course. This content can be used with any textbook or instructional materials. If locally adapted, make sure all TEKS are covered.

Practicum in Fashion Design course scope and sequence within the Arts, A/V Technology, and Communications Career Cluster® summarizes the content to be taught, and one possible order for teaching the units of instruction. A brief description of each unit and the corresponding TEKS are included. This scope and sequence may be adapted or adopted by the local education agency.
